Delta Po Italy by bike

The peculiar environment of the Po Delta with its ponds populated of herons, the casoni boats and fishermen is the destination of this trip, during which you can see the bridges of boats, the lighthouse Gorino, the fishing valleys, the old Adria, the great river that divides into many branches, it being for miles on roads and embankments that have water left and right, traffic does not exist. Every day you will discover a different area of the park that had the recognition by UNESCO in 1999.

1st day: Arrival individual to Taglio di Po; you cycle on the Island of Ariano, dunes S. Basil – about 38 km
2nd day: The Polesine of Sighs and the Far delta    about 55 km
3rd day: the way of Valli and Bonifica   about 45 km

The trip takes place along the banks of rivers and roads. Some simple dirt.
