The route to discovery Friuli Venezia Giulia. The landscapes change quickly, day after day. From the beautiful peaks of the Julian Alps, along the cycle path built on an old rail leads to the pleasant hills of Friuli moraine, then you ride in the vast plains and you came to the lagoon and the coast resort of Grado, and finally, crossing the Karst, a land of splendid nature and heroism, we reach the historic city of Trieste. You go through major cities like Udine, country of rare beauty and historic urban medieval villages such as Malborghetto Venzone and Strassoldo, the fortress of Palmanova, the Roman ruins of Aquileia, mountain resorts, as Tarvisio, and sea, such as Grado , Duino and Sistiana. All through an easy route, almost entirely on cycle paths and byways of the country, with some gently sloping hills to be overcome on the slopes of Buja and karst. Obviously, you can taste the famous regional wines and the typical food of Friuli and the Julian, cooked in original ways and tasty!
