Our proposals

1) Famous people. Some lived for a long time in our city, others were only passing through, but all left their mark. With the support of sound and visual stimuli, we will enter the world of the paranormal with Nostradamus and Rol, we will be enveloped by the celestial music of Mozart, we will move on the border between philosophy and madness with Nietzsche, we will enter the adventurous world created by the imagination of Salgari that made us dream so much as children. And not only that...

2) Post-industrial Turin. A three-hour tour (it is also possible to extend it to a day) to recall the recent past of the city and discover the radical changes of recent years. It all began in the 80s when the Lingotto closed followed by other Fiat factories; from that moment Turin will never again be the "one-company town" known throughout the world and will begin that process of redefinition of the industrial territory that is still underway today. The northern tour includes the areas of Michelin, Ferriere Fiat, Officine Savigliano, Officine Grandi Motori; the southern tour includes the Officine Grandi Riparazioni, the Lancia area and the one that gravitates around the Lingotto.

3) The years of lead. A tour that takes us back to the controversial events of the 70s and early 80s, called "years of lead" taking inspiration from the title of a famous film; in that period many Italian cities, including Turin, were bloodied. Important figures such as the lawyer Fulvio Croce or the journalist Carlo Casalegno will be recalled, but also simple people such as the student Roberto Crescenzio, who died by chance, without any political responsibility, and the agents Lorusso and Cutugno, guilty of being "servants of the State".

4) Turin city of arms. The history of the city has been marked by the centuries-old presence of the Savoy family, a family characterized since its origins by a strong military vocation that marked the destiny of the Duchy first, then of the Kingdom of Sardinia and finally of the Kingdom of Italy. This military tradition is still very much alive and present today, but few are aware of it. The barracks, the statues, the plaques scattered everywhere in the city tell us about us, about our roots: you just need to know how to listen.

5) Angels and demons. The soul of Turin in some respects can be defined as "black", not only for the presence of numerous effigies depicting the devil, but above all for the large number of crimes and executions that have taken place since the Middle Ages onwards with the most varied means. Yet this same city has seen wonderful people operate within its walls who have dedicated their whole lives to others and so it is still today, as evidenced by places of charity and hospitality such as the Cottolengo and the Sermig.

6) Turin in colors. Until recently, Turin had the reputation of being a gray and a bit boring city: nothing could be further from the truth.
Especially after the restyling that culminated with the 2006 Olympics and still underway, things have changed a lot. Our very pleasant bike ride will take us to discover all the most beautiful colors of the city, those of the facades of certain houses, of shop signs, of shop windows, of the walls painted by street artists without missing the wonderful colors of nature that surrounds us with its silence.

7) Great Turin artists. Ladies and gentlemen, the show begins! The stories, the images, the voices, the songs of some artists who in Turin were born or simply worked there, leaving an indelible mark anyway. We will talk about cinema, theater, tenement houses, "piole" and clubs that have now almost disappeared; a pinch of nostalgia but also many small anecdotes concerning those who are now at the crest of the wave.

8) Along the Po river and its tributaries. Few know that Turin has four rivers and their banks are ideal for those who love cycling, immersing themselves in greenery. And while pedaling, the history of the city flows before our eyes: the Royal Residences, the villas of the hill that are reflected in the water, the rowing clubs, but also the old factories, the ancient crafts that no longer exist today, but of which, if you know how to look, you can find traces. Four different tours are possible, all of three hours, which can be combined:

1) the Royal Residences; from the Valentino park to Stupinigi and back

2) the ancient crafts; from Turin to San Mauro and back

3) the birth of the first industries and workers' villages; along the Dora with
departure from the Pellerina Park to the mouth

4) the Lands of the West; following the Dora to the Reggia di Venaria and back
